Resources on Volunteering Overseas
What's
it really like to live and work as a volunteer overseas? If you
visit the websites of voluntary sending agencies you will have
a good idea of what's involved and what options are out there.
But there's more you can do too. You can research the history, culture, politics and climate of developing countries you are interested in. And, you can assess whether you have what it takes to be successful in an overseas work placement. Past volunteers say it's worth doing your homework, before you even apply.
