This July the world’s eight richest countries (known as the G8)
will meet in Japan to talk about global poverty and climate change. The
G8 meetings coincide with the famous Japanese Tanabata festival, where
people tie written wishes to bamboo trees.
Tie your wish to our virtual tree, and
be part of a global movement to ask for the end of poverty.
